You’ve been invited to join the Bubblegum Casting family! Whoop!

The Impact of Acting Modelling on Personal Growth

Thank you so much for meeting today, it was an absolute pleasure! Bubblegum Casting is excited to extend a warm welcome to Samuel. He possesses a friendly personality and a gorgeous appearance. We are eagerly looking forward to him becoming an official member of the Bubblegum family!

As you may have guessed, we’re super excited about the news and can’t wait to get started!

But before we can do that, we’ll need to pop a few super-important items on your to-do list and ask you to have a good read of your Information Handbook. Unfortunately, while these tasks may seem a little boring (and this email a little long!), they must be completed before we can start booking your child for work, so let’s get started.

1. The Contract

First things first — we need to make things legal. This way, there’s no confusion regarding the agency’s roles and duties and your own responsibilities as your child’s manager. The good news is that we already have your contract all ready to go and you should see an email in your inbox so you can review it and digitally sign on behalf of your child:

Samuel Wamberski

If any of these details are not correct, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing us at casting@bubblegumcasting.com.au.

We’ll just remind you that this is an important document for your child’s career so please take as much time as you need to read it carefully. If there’s anything that you don’t understand or would like to query, you can contact us at the email address listed above. Once you’re happy with the contract, you can go ahead and sign it and cross it off your to-do list.

2. Arrange Fee Payment

As you know, Bubblegum Casting charges a fee for membership. This fee will cover the costs of your child’s representation, those all-important first headshots, and your talent portal subscriptions. Payment of your child’s fee can be made through the link below or by using the bank details listed in your contract.

Instalment Plan Option

If you would like to pay the fee in instalments, you can simply make a first payment of $174.50 followed by weekly payments of $87.50 for the following eight weeks. If you choose this option, it’s extremely important to make sure that you don’t miss a payment. Our system is automated and once a payment is missed your child’s contract could be terminated.

It’s also worth noting that should you decide to cancel your child’s membership, any previously made payments up to that point are non-refundable. This is the same rule that applies for all membership fees. If you would like to take advantage of the instalment plan, all you need to do is choose ‘Payment Plan’ as your pricing option on our payment page.

3. Book your Child’s Headshots

Once you’ve signed your contract and made your payment, we’ll send you a link to book your child’s headshots. This is a crucial step as we use these images to promote your child throughout our network of industry professionals.

Headshot photoshoots take place once every few weeks and we allocate spaces based on the order kids have signed up. So the earlier you sign up, the quicker we can get those headshots done! Don’t worry though, if you miss out on the first session, we’ll get you booked in for the next one.

4. Update your Syngency and Casting Networks Profiles

As soon as your child has completed their headshot session and their images are ready, we’ll get to work setting up profiles on talent portals Casting Networks and Syngency. Keep an eye out for emails explaining how to log in to these accounts. While Bubblegum will set the profiles up, you’ll need to update each profile with your child’s personal information including their measurements and any skills they may have.

This information is critical as it helps a casting director decide if your child meets their requirements for a role or assignment. That’s why it’s so very important that you update these profiles regularly. We have step-by-step guides available on our Knowledge Base to help you through this process.

Just remember that we cannot put your child forward for any jobs until your profiles are filled out with all the required information.

5. Read your Handbook, Code of Conduct and Knowledge Base.

These will be your guide for any answers you need as they contain all important information we’ve gathered over our 40 years of experience, including frequently asked questions!

We don’t want any golden opportunities slipping through the net because an email landed in your spam folder!

And that’s a wrap!

Phew, that was a long email, right? But at least it’s out of the way now and we can start focusing on making your child’s dreams of stardom come true.

But one more thing before we go — last one, we promise! If your child is interested in improving their acting or modelling skills to give themselves a little advantage over the competition, then check out our online talent school Bubblegum Academy. We’ve also got some great free guides and industry tips available on the Bubblegum Casting blog.

That’s really it for now. We can’t wait to see you at your headshot session and look forward to working with you for many years to come.

Let the adventure begin!
